This is the quickest and most effective way to make your seed paper germinate and grow into a healthy plant. Follow these 6 steps:
- Prepare the container you'll use. In this case, a plate or any flat container without holes will do.
- Place the seed paper on the plate. Ideally, place it in an indoor location where it always receives sunlight.
- Add water to the plate or container you’ve chosen. About 5mm of water will be enough.
- Water the plate daily: It's very important to ensure the plate always has water during the first few days. If it dries out, the seed germination cycle could be interrupted.
- First results: Depending on the type of seed and the time of year, the seeds may start to germinate between days 5 and 15.
- Transplant the paper: Once the first shoots start to appear, it’s time to transplant the plantable seed paper into a pot. You can tear the paper into smaller pieces (without damaging the shoots) and cover it with a bit of soil. Always leave the shoots exposed to avoid harming them.
